This article made me laugh out loud (literally, hence no mere LOL) when I read it. It's an Op-Ed piece written by Alexander McCall Smith. (If you don't recognize the name, or almost do, he's the guy who wrote the #1 Ladies' Detective Agency series--quite good, although the style is SO simple it takes a little getting used to...plus, they're set in Botswana, and paced accordingly, so your attention can wander at times...)
It's a brilliant idea, and SO in contrast to either of you two that I thought you might appreciate it. That is, if you aren't appalled in the way most of the music professionals referenced appeared to be.
